       Terri Weingartner

Title:  Commercial Lines Account Manager

Experience:  I started working in the Insurance Industry in 1978 and have been licensed since 1985.  I have worked for Jack O'Brien Insurance and Real Estate, Baumgard and Reed Insurance, and Bob Tracy Insurance.  I have been with M&M Insurance Group since August of 2005.

Family:  I married my husband, Rick Weingartner in 1994.  I have two stepchildren, Chad and Andy and 3 grandchildren Taylor, Emily and Nicole.

Designations/Achievements:  I have held a Property and Casualty License since 1985.  I earned my CISR designation in 1992.

Special Interests:  I enjoy working with Promises for Pets and Paw Printz 4H Club.  In my spare time, I like to ride quads with my husband, family and friends.

Typical Day of Work?     Some days are busier than others, but alwasy enough going on that the day moves right along!

Best-selling insurance product that you talk to most people about & why?     Probably homeowner's, look at the coverage you get for a fairly low premium.

What product should most people have, but most don't?     Life Insurance.

What books are you reading right now?     I have not read a book in some time, there's not enough hours in the day.

What would people be surprised to know about you?     Well, my husband says nothing surprises him anymore and he's probably right.

What do you do when you're not selling insurance?     I have several pets and a dairy farm, that in itself keeps me busy.  I also do dogs rescue and foster dogs so I always have 1 or 2 extra dogs at my house who are in need of a good home and up for adoption.  I've had as many as 13 dogs at one time.  (one of the reasons nothing surprises my husband) I'm a board member of Promises for Pets here in New Castle.

What one word describes you?     Dedicated.

Who is your role model and what have you learned from him/her?     I think I have a few and they all pose the same qualities, patience and kindness.

What is your favorite quote?
"A pretty face doesn't make a pretty heart."
