Jim Monteleone

Title:   Senior Account Executive

Experience:  I started in the Insurance Business in 1979 with a national carrier, serving in a variety of sales and underwriting positions during those 28 years.  I have experience in both business and personal insurance.  In addition, I have experience selling mutual funds and variable investments.  M&M will be adding these products to provide solutions for their customers' retirement, education funding and income protection needs.

Family:  I married my wife Joanna in 1979.  I have 2 children, David and Michael.  David is a student at Robert Morris University and is a member of their soccer team.  Michael attends Quigley Catholic High School.

Designations/Achievements:  I currently hold the Chartered Property/Casualty Underwriter, Chartered Life Underwriter and Charted Financial Consultant Desinations.  I also have various NASD Registrations.  I have won various sales awards over the years by always putting my clients interests first. 

Special Interests:  I enjoy running and walking, a little more walking as I mature.  I also play a little golf and still enjoy watching high school athletics.

Typical Day of Work?     It varies because I work on all lines.  Since I have NASD registrations, I will be bringing additional options for our customers to purchase mutual funds, variable annuities and variable life insurance.  These products can be used to solve retirement needs, education funding needs and income protection.

Best-selling insurance product that you talk to most people about & why?     Business insurance since that is the line I have the most experience.

What product should most people have, but most don't?     Retirement Savings.  Social security won't be enough and most individuals need to supplement their retirement plans at work.

What books are you reading right now?     The Ultimate Question

What would people be surprised to know about you?     I have lived in 6 different places since 1986:  Butler, PA, Columbus, OH, Dayton, OH, Lima, OH, Harrisburg, PA and Cranbery Twp., PA.

What do you do when you're not selling insurance?     I spend time with my family, walk/run and play a little golf.

What one word describes you?     Honest

Who is your role model and what have you learned from him/her?     My parents, to put faith and family first.
